Bet you expected NEDM. ;-) And yes, the angel does like quite a bit like de Lancie, doesn't he? But in the spirit of "we're artists now," this is indeed a serious work of art . . .

Anyone who downvoted due to no-nedm is really just..come on, nedm is going too far. it doesn't have to be in every ytmnd. a ytmnd isn't bad because it's longer than usual and doesn't end in a stupid non-sensical fashion. Yeah I think NEDM is great but it's not necessary and shouldn't result in downvoting because of its absence.
Everyone who 5-starred this site, thanks so much, it's awesome that a "serious" YTMND can have this kind of impact on so many. :-) Everyone who 1-starred it and left a comment why -- usually because there was no NEDM -- thanks anyway just for weighing in. Maybe I'll make an alternate version just for you guys. Everyone who downvoted WITHOUT commenting as to why, DYFWM!!
CatAstrophe, yes, I stole from the JWs -- and I feel strangely un-guilty about it. ;-) TacoGeddon, you have a point, but it should be said that Picard's views (in TNG or in this YTMND) don't necessarily coincide with my own... Taffin, believe it or not, I DID mix it down while Picard was speaking, or at least I thought I did...
cowofdoom7: that's probably the first time I've heard the Adagio described as "happy" O.o Aberu, I don't know whether DotC makes me an artist or not, but I think I'm an artist to the extent that YTMND is an art medium -- and one of my purposes in creating DotC was to prove that it CAN be. *shrug* Choronzon, that's an aptly Tangerine Dream-like sentiment. ;-)
ronin137, that's actually a very good idea! maybe we should petition Max to create YTAND! Goneja, I'd be so incredibly f*cking honored!! :-D Everyone who mentioned Q at the end: I actually tried to blur Q out more, but couldn't without making it look sh*tty. I didn't intend DotC that way, but if you want to see it that way, that's fine with me!
LOL... I guess I don't know what you mean by pretentious. Do you mean that I'm making exaggerated claims, about this being art? If so, I refer you to the dozens of people who called this YTMND "beautiful." When was the last time you produced a work of beauty? If you mean the secondary definition of "making demands on one's skill," then you have a point...
Allow me to explain it a little better. I suck at explaining things. I'm saying that you shouldn't call your own works "art" or it will end up sounding like you think the world of yourself. I wouldn't exactly call this art, but I admit that it is beautiful, so I'll overlook the extremely pretentious description and give it a 4, what it deserves. You're not making exaggerated claims.... You're just being high and mighty, and I loathe that.
