What happens in the story is that someone that got a hold of one of the dream entering devices and started killing people. So they used the other devices they had left to try to track down the killer. The movie starts to mind f*ck you when the characters can't even tell if they are dreaming are not. then all hell breaks loose when dreams start taking over the world. The character in this gif is paprika, who is the alter ego of the main character. The two egos are being sperated in this scene.
I had a friend that met that fly once. He told me that Sucker wanted to be the most famous fly in history. He laughed at him, said he was just a simple fly and that it was impossible. He proved us all wrong. RIP buddy.
