As soon as I heard this song, and saw this part of the movie, I knew there was a YTMND for it. Why does everyone else use the pathetic Sugar Hill version?

"Why does everyone else use the pathetic Sugar Hill version?" Because the Sugarhill Gang were the creators of the song, Sir Mix-a-Lot came along a good 20 years (or thereabout) later. While I was watching this site, I was actually longing for the Sugarhill Gang version. I've heard both numerous times over the past decades, but always enjoyed the original more. A matter of taste, perhaps. :) Either way, great site and you're right, that clip fits perfectly as a YTMND site.
The Sugarhill Gang is an American hip hop group, known mostly for their biggest hit, "Rapper's Delight", the first hip hop single recorded to become a Top 40 hit. The song uses the instrumental track from "Good Times" by Chic as its foundation.

Many people enjoy a ytmnd that consists of nothing more than a simple gif that moves in sync to a catchy tune. See the HOF classic 'What is Love!?' as an example. While I'm a bit surprised myself at how high the rating is I suspect that some of this is a backlash to these types of sites being buried by 1 votes by the 'OMFG this site has noo 733t video/sound edits / fads / fart joke in it so it suks1111!!' crowd before people that enjoy them get to see them
