What? A group of 7 or 8 people can't dictate U&C. If the VA upvote a site onto U&C it will be gone within 5 minutes if it's not good enough, and the hundreds of other members will decide if a site should be on U&C. You make it sound like there is a group of 150 of us 5ing everything onto U&C without giving anyone else a chance. What a ridiculous claim.
I do the same, when I'm browsing sites I go through up and coming from the sites menu as opposed to front page U&C. You find a lot of good sites that way. Also, if the VA does end up getting together and spamming up and coming then I can understand if people aren't happy, but they won't be the reason ytmnd dies, in my opinion.
