He was a good man and I loved his show as a kid and to die while not even harrassing the animal is a sucky way to go. Farewell Steve Irwin...you'll be missed.
This shall be the only Steve Irwin site i'll up vote. Not sure why but seems to kinda get me...(Even though I have to admit this thing turned into a fad. Which it shouldn't have.)
Really great site, man. Irwin was a great environmentalist, who truly loved animals. I loved his shows; his enthusiasm was something that just wasn't shown by other presenters. I guess to be killed by an animal would have been the way that he would have wanted to go, although I'm sure he would have been insulted if it were a crocodile. 5'd
I find it amusing that so many of you have this preconcieved notion of what belongs on the top 5. As if their opinion was the authority on the matter. You also seemed to have a warped notion of what the top five is for: it's for sites that are HIGHLY RATED, and as such, there are going to be sites that are overrated appearing on there. Quit complaining. The "worthwhile YTMNDs" section is where the truly unique sites are allowed to shine.
Colbert deserves #1? Don't humble yourself. The author of Colbert made my one of my favorite YTMNDs (Night at the Hothberry), but I am deeply dissappointed by his "selling out" to legions of tasteless fanboys and the cult of the cliche when he made yet another IPOD remix. Unlike his YTMND, this page contains vast amounts of humor and a special witty charm that is unique to this site. Once again, good job. And yes, I AM capable of gauging the quality of fads and the top 5. Some pages are just better.
