Uh... they did. A lot of "official" sources (such as fansites and Wiki) haven't picked up on it, but apparently it's being tracked by fans at www.Last.fm - and if you do a Google search for videos, you can hear the full track (with the same arrangement heard in this YTMND)

I think he did his best to say what the sound souce was. I know it's not rockapella, but that's how it's credited on file sharing networks (as actually recognized by rockapella themselves). It WOULD be cool who ACTUALLY did this though. I'm not about to reduce my vote over it though.

You guys can chill on the rockapella stuff. Scroll waaaaaay up. That is the name of the file and there was a discussion about a month ago where it was pointed out that it was not actually rockapella, but that there is no real source for it, so he's leaving it cited as such due to lack of any more information. (aka lots of people share barbershop type stuff on the net as "rockapella" because they don't know where the hell it came from. You can read it all on rockapella's website)
