probably because it had a ton of glitches, I mean it WAS a launch title for dreamcast. The really unfortunate thing is that SEGA never took the time to fix the glitches in SA2 or any other 3D sonic game. They either kept the glitches or added more :P

I played a demo of Sonic Heroes for the PC. It's hard to like a 3D game when it feels like I'm on rails, but at least it looked DAMN good. Sonic 3 and Knuckles, on the other hand, is perfect in countless ways.

Total Freaken Accuracy. Also, don't worry Stu22. You didn't miss much. Sonic Rush was just like the sonic Advanced games Except with horrible Audio and the same 2 bad guys just thrown randomly into poorly designed levels. That's what Naka gets for firing Yasuhara.

sonic adventure : sonic games :: mario 64 : mario games why couldn't they have just continued to do the whole "sonic games in 3D" approach instead of trying to make completely diffent games and sell them with name recognition =/ oh and those game boy games were horrible because the sprites sucked. seriously... they should've used the ones from sonic 3. knuckles looks like a 5 year old for crying out loud.

^Shuffle sucked. GTFO. Also, I have to admit, I actually enjoyed Heroes. C'mon, it wasn't too sucktacular... it was better than Adventure 2... they DID improve the camera a little... Also, consider this: Shadow and Riders, as well as the sucktacular-looking Rivals, were all made by NOT Sonic Team, but United Game Artists, AKA Sonic Team America. These people are idiots. They don't know a game from their *sshole, really. Thus, they made Shadow and Riders.

those sonic advance games are so much slower than the old ones. I don't get it. Oh ya, and the sprites are completely screwed up. On top of that, the controls seemed to react different. As if there was a slight delay between when I pushed the button and when the character jumped.

Shadow game is actually good. Since I consider it more of a "These stories suck, I'm just gonna destroy everything" type of thing. I took my time and didn't do the Goodguy side of the story cuz it would have made me gag.

Sonic Advance wasn't all that great compared to the original Genesis titles, so I'd have to agree there. Sonic Adventure 1-2 were okay, I'd agree with Sonic Heroes because although it was fun there were parts that weren't fun. Shadow was horrible, as was STH360. Yeah, Sonic keeps going downhill, and unfortunately once Sonic finally starts going uphill, he can't run that fast :P

Oh and Sonic CD, no matter how many people love that game, SUCKS in my opinion. Why everyone enjoys a game where you constantly stop playing every few seconds during a stage to travel through time is beyond me. Ironic how people complained about having to stop in Sonic Heroes all the time but at the same time LOVE Sonic CD.
