I'm not gonna upvote a movie I've never seen. It sure isn't the best movie ever made just because a line from it became a spoof website. If you want to weild YTMND's power do it for something that matters or that really deserves it, like curing little Timmy's cancer or something. FOR GOD'S SAKE THINK OF THE CHILDREN! D:
The SOAP contest was inconsequential. It gave free stuff to a cool guy. Attempting to subvert the voting system of a legitimate website for the sake of a movie I've never seen is a different story. On another note, I'm going to go watch FF soon, but I bet it won't be the sinle greatest film ever created.

Voted 10 on two diff accounts and also 1'd the top 25 on two accounts. Prolly should do the bottom though so it will get in there quicker. Results will breed more results.
That's why the site is dying. We have mass amounts of idiots here now who are more dedicated to IMDb then ytmnd. F*ck the other movies ratings. We want finding forrester to be in top 10 so that's that. F*ck IMDb.com and its rating system. YTMND FTW!!!
Excellent idea, but here's the possible problem. Sith the SOAP thing a person could vote once a day, and I'm assuming, since i've never voted on imdb, that it can only be once forever. And let's face it, most YTMND users won't go through the trouble of registering and then voting. But very good idea gets a 5 from me.

IMDb is basically a cult of people like YTMND. Not everyone viewing the site votes. You get a group of people together and you are inevitably going to get an "average". You will not find a single movie on IMDb that is rated 10 because everyone likes it. What a flawed system. If it can never achieve 10... then what is the point. It tells you a lot of people like it, but it still may not be good for you. F*ck that sh*t.
Tornado, are you f*cking retarded? OF COURSE NO MOVIE IS F*CKING RATED A PERFECT 10, it's called a balanced rating system. You don't have to as much pass an Algebra class to know that, holy sh*t. No movie is perfect and no movie is completely bad. It's called common opinion. The only thing flawed here is your amazingly bad reasoning.
All you guys bitching about how this is abusing the film industry and the internet, take a hint from Lewis Black and shut the f*ck up. Seriously, whether it happens or not, the concept IS funny. Stop taking the internet so seriously, it's not actually serious business, no matter how many times photoshopped images of kids with Down's syndrome may tell you.
