Advanced Search needs to be done. Favorite Users isn't needed, but it would be a nice addition.
"Those are EXCELLENT ideas. Especially the advance search. But one I really
would like to see besides the search the most is a preview button for when
you submitting a page. To see what your submitting before it hits the front
page so it avoids having you to delete and resubmitting to correct."
I second Outerheaven.
Oustanding idea, well presented, and a good demonstration - we've all had this thought before but it'd never occurred to me how this might reduce YTMND redundancy. And we all know that "can't find that hilarious one from last week" syndrome. I wonder if implementing these search terms would tax the server. Also, I love the "subscribe to favorite user" feature idea.
Yes...it's true...not everyone states their sources...that's why I added "comment" searching....because a lot of the time even if they dont state any sources, use any keywords, or have any useful information in the title or url...someone is bound to mention something in the comments section of the ytmnd. Like if someone says "Daft Punk is awsome!" Or "I love these Matrix ytmnds" ... those could come up in the search as well.
