b.) The timer ends at midnight Eastern Daylight Time, 7/1/06 (as we all know).
c.) The server for eon8.com is based in Dallas, Texas, at ThePlanet.com.
d.) 3D Realms is developing Duke Nukem Forever; 3D Realms is based in Garland, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.
e.) If you don't count the development time when 3DR was using Quake in late '97, it has been 8 years since development REALLY began for DNF -- 98-present.
