Harrison, it's because if you read the newspaper then me posting this shouldn't make a difference. A lot of people on YTMND aren't like you, in that they don't read the paper. Hell, there are a great deal of YTMNDers who aren't even old enough to drive.
Considering the amount of people who WOULD bid on this, I would have to say, with all honesty, that this girl has a great head for business. Exploiting basal desires through the safety of anonymity...if anything, she's got street smarts.
