easy enough... ytmnd.com is resolved to some ip address, forums.ytmnd.com to another one. For the first machine (ytmnd.com) forums.ytmnd.com means the site named forums. But the dns servers will give you the second machine address, so you get to the forums home page, and not to the subdomain forums on the first machine...
