I doubt that the producers would scrap this line, that would be plain stupid on their part. People will be going to watch the movie just to see how they incoperate the line into it. They would probably lose a chunk of their potential audiance if they didn't use the line. This is really a dream come true for the people marketing the film.
Ha ha! That should be framed! It was smart of you to hold on to it. I remember I had the exact same thing happen to me when i was 12 (1994 also) and i said the words "you're lying to the class"... My teacher thought the speed of light was 30,000 km/s, and I was telling her it was 300,000 km/s. She did not like being corrected by a child, thats for sure.
Nice idea here. What program are you using to do this? Sounds like a MOD file, i remember they were used in amiga games. They only had 3 channel output. Left, right or both (middle). Yeah, NES only had the yellow and white RCA jacks. Really didn't bother me back them, not many of us even knew what stereo was... Thanks for the memories :)
