Oh I see, you're talking about the "Sites in the last week" counter, which has been broken as long as I can remember, and you're mistakenly thinking it's counting users. Did you really think that out of the 232,182 users who have ever registered on this site, that 164,470 were online in the past week, but only 300 at a time?
