No, you're not the only person who thought of it... I came here to see if anyone had done it, and though you didn't do what I had in mind at all, it's essentially the same joke. So I'd have to say this was a good idea, poorly executed.
Funny, someone in my class told me to do the same thing about a week ago. Of course, it's a f*cking 1-2 page essay, so it's not like I can't knock that out in a half-hour. Besides, changing the font size of certain characters changes the leading of the text. The larger your period font is compared to the regular font, a line without a period will make it easy to spot. I know if I was a teacher, and I saw it, I'd call you out.

But you're right, it has been done, though I did do a search for it. I still think my loop is better. (And the fact that the images are the same is simply that this is the first and best picture that comes up in a google image search)
I didn't realize it was there until after I made this site, when I did a second search for "moe". It was the lowest rated on the list, so I didn't get quite that far the first time. Oh well.
funny... i had the dr. wily stage music stuck in my head earlier... so i figured out how to play it on guitar from memory, then played the game itself to hear the music anyway... now this. you'd have already had 5, but +50 for weird coincidence.
