One of the things I never understood about the Rocky series. In Rocky it is established that "retards love the zoo" In Rocky II Rocky proposes to Adrian at the zoo in front of the tigers. I have a couple theories. 1. Rocky himself is a retard and didn't know any better. 2. Rocky kinda thought Adrian was semi retarded because of her extreme shyness and thus took her to the zoo knowing that she would love it and indeed would marry him. 3.
