Hey Silvagunner, if you ever come across this, I'm still alive...
1.5 TB isn't THAT bad when you think about it. Throw it up in a torrent or something. People will download it.
Or another option is to see if a web preservation group like archive.org would be willing to crawl the site to preserve it. (currently while you can click on a link through them, you can't actually play sites properly)
