Larry David initially envisioned a show about "nothing", where "nothing" involved principal characters blasting hideous ear-raping sounds at one-another. Unfortunately the test group killed themselves and the tapes were soaked with gasoline and set ablaze, robbing us of what could have been a potential cultural holocaust.
