wow, being put on spot makes me realize there was nothing real specific that happened

I guess just the fact that I haven't made any money or gotten laid once this summer has caught up to me and these last few days I've felt like walking shit.

Also, I've been slowly coming to the realization that I will be a failure in life, no matter what I do or how hard I work. Actually not so much that I'll necessarily be a failure, but that even being successful in this life is bullshit in so many ways. So in short, I'm becoming an adult, and it sucks.

yeah, i'm twenty-five and i've found that more and more expectations seem to fall into disillusionment. but really, for me at least, there is almost an equal level of hope-for-fulfillment happening. the one thing i've learned about living this long is that the things that make you feel good - and i mean really really good - never hold the same kind of presence as you thought they would.

i've just started meeting some quality girls. i've pretty much abandoned the partytime getting laid expectation. it was a rough reality for me and i did a lot of irresponsible (and sometimes flat out hurtful) things with far too many women. i really don't want to sound like i'm trying to express some l337 garbage here, but being a relatively good looking guy has brought me (all to easily, before i was ready and grown enough) very close to some dangerous situations involving sex, relationships, drug use, what have you - and i'm very thankful i never really had to pay any price for it. it did leave me with enough angst and disillusionment at least with regards to women. look at this account, and look at the rug account, and tell me i didn't scar myself with some bullshit. its all goooood though ;)

lol i was at my buddy's place with my prettyboy long hair pushed back and he was all like "you hair is mad homosexual" and i was like "ya know i've noticed a trend. it seems that most grown men who exclusively listen to fantasy rap music also think my haircut is gay" and he got unnecessarily pissed off and was like "fuck you nick, sugar free dick [i'm diabetic] always with the low blows" and i was like "see? you even had to make a rhyme you fuckin chucklehead."

i dunno, i thought it was a funny interchange. i wish these three posts were more connected. i guess they sorta are.

Yeah, I hear you.

It's so much easier to treat girls like shit than you originally think. I always thought guys who did it were scum, until I had a few relationships and found out that I was a big asshole. It's hard because both parties usually bear some blame, so it's easy to focus on the flaws of the other person, but looking back carefully at all my relationships, what an asshole I was.

I've felt like I've gotten past that and become a better person but unfortunately, it feels like my luck with girls has suffered because of that. Being a genuine person and a nice guy makes you realize you're actually just plain incompatible with some people. And in the past, I would've gone for those people anyway, by being disingenuous and dishonest (and an asshole) in order to impress them. So it's like I've been starting from scratch, and I'm a big failure at it.

I never had the scary, unsafe situation part like you, mostly because I'm a big pussy, and very anti-social, but yeah, at least our dicks are still attached and all our organs are working properly. And also, Eminem is pretty bad, no disrespect to kassius. Also, protip: originally he was a big ICP fan, and ripped them off, no bullshit.

i know what you mean about being an asshole. assholes generally don't think theyre assholes. sometimes if you're an asshole and you're lucky, it will be too late but at least you realize youve been an asshole.

i really liked icp when i was in 7-8th grade. i hade 18 of their cds. my dad listened to them and crushed every one of them under his feet when i was out of the house one day. i've posted that story before. at least he has good taste in music.
