oh man I feel like crap right now. a quart of Gatorade, 20 oz of Coke, two ice cream sandwiches, a pastrami sandwich on a seeded hamburger bun, and a bowl of Cheerios, along with a bunch of Goldfish crackers and like 7 or 8 chocolate mini donuts.

After considering that a user with the name "stoned" took the time to do a screen grab between each character, I think this merits a fav. Yes, he might have used a screen grab program, exported as avi or mov but, this was rather fluid and no matter how he did it... it was very fluid. High marks for stoned. P.S. vi and vim kick ass, once you get past that hjkl navigation thing. I hope this guy don't manage a server or he might use sed and awk to print "E" across the board.

- screencasting via ffmpeg directly to png frames (so there's no manual grab after every character typed, ffmpeg does this for me) - short script using ImageMagick to remove duplicate frames, overlay koen logo and trim frames - manually removing some frames and setting frame delays - messing with copy/paste in audacity, which was the most tedious part for me
