Why? Because GW has the balls to call the shots and make decisions others would balk at. Certainly, JUNIOR senator Clinton would love a chance to flee from the office, hence why she's running. Its not that she really wants to be President, she just wants to sit in the chair and say "I'm a woman President" and then get up and leave.
Actually, you'd be stuck in Iraq anyway. President Clinton issued an executive order outlining the plans to remove Saddam Hussein from office many years ago. Consider it an extension of Clinton Administration policy to see through with the invasion of Iraq; its been in the toy box for over a decade. Regarding the economy, hate to tell you this but recession isn't a uniquely US phenomenon. The entire world is witnessing a recession; even economies experiencing "growth" are slowing down.
