It had its moments. If you enjoyed The Simpsons when it was actually good (about 8 years ago) you probably won't enjoy it as it has since become a watered down cartoon that is acceptable for the whole family as opposed to a funny show that pushes the envelope.

I got that impression when I saw a commercial for Burger King that said they were putting Simpson's toys in the kid's meals. It kinda shocked me, seeing as how when The Simpsons first came out, my parents didn't let us watch it. Not that I think I really missed much after seeing some of the first season repeats...It got really good towards the middle, but for awhile I think they've been reaching pretty hard.
