Actually, this isn't ending, I looked it up on Wikipedia and it said that the "Last Episode" was to be the Season Finale. The Season premieres on Friday, May 4th.
How could this be true? Well, if you saw the Alien Invasion preview, it showed a clip of Johny having an Alien Encounter, and I do NOT recall seeing that episode.
Ed, Edd, and Eddy is on it's 6th Season right now. So I guess they could've been fooling around with us... or something else. o_O
