I spent 8 hours making a gif over a few days, then nearly 3 hours trying to figure out ways to compile it....I tried...everthing...and... I know how to make and optimize gifs. The godamn f*cking thing I swear to God won't compile. Change size? out of memory; Can't complete task. Change optimization settings? OUT OF memory. Now this file is like 10 megs, and I have over 2 GBs of ram. Gimp 2.0 compiles the gif fine but doesnt have the compression quality of Adobe ImageReady. Sorry, just doesn't.
