people went crazy. i remember when someone claimed it was a Funker Vogt song, the site went to like a 4.5 with over 50 votes before anyone bothered checking to see if it was right... i mean, it was like a witchhunt or some sh*t. people arent thinking, voting is some 28 Days Later type disease lately.
Also I am going to admit here and now, that Patrickman did help me. But I didn't know he had alts. Ummm also you wouldn't mind see ing if you like this ytmnd? I still maintain that Patrickman/ps3fool was wrong for "viewhacking" or whatever you want to call it, but if you make a lame site, even if you get it to up and coming, it gets downvoted. His stuff was really funny or it wouldn't have stayed where it was. It's not that hard to get to up and coming anyway. Getting that upset over this minor "cheating" is really stupid, in my opinion. The real reason to get upset over alt accounts is because it wastes server space, and not for any other reason.
I'd sooner do away with K7, b00n, ZERODAEwhatever his name is, Nameless50, inkpwner2, Adverb, Niatona, and other people who only criticize and rarely make a site (especially rated over 2.2 stars), rather than getting rid of someone like ps3fool. Spock was funny, and so was a lot of the Mystery Song stuff.
you try and rationalize Patrickmans cheating but are so hardcore about what is NWS/WS. i say the former is the bigger issue, because letting habitual cheating slide only encourages other users to do the same. If Patrickman wants to force his sites on people he should sponsor them like everyone else.
Viewhacking is wrong. Big deal. What if he'd had 6 friends from AIM who were actually different people with their own accounts all vote at the same time? Still the same effect but there's nothing technically wrong with it. The only thing you've got him on is a technicality of having multiple accounts, and the real crime there is wasting server space. You've caught him at something wrong, but you don't even know what it is. The BIG issue is sites getting moderated that don't deserve moderation.

There is, in Max's own words, a list of all the reasons that sites should be moved to the nsfw domain. There is its original intentions. None of the sites I mentioned in my update have broken any of those rules.
Patrickman was a jerk. ps3fool is trying to be honest and you started a witch-hunt against him. One man deciding what everyone should see? How ironic that you should say that, when it's not clear ps3fool has done ANYTHING wrong since his return, and people supporting your tirade against him have put at least 9 sites wrongly on the nsfw domain. If there's any reason that legit YTMNDs are knocked off the front-page, it's your crowd.
You aren't championing for YTMND, and you aren't in support of it not being a democracy. You want everyone to have a fair chance at the front page. I want people to look beyond their average rating and think about the site as a whole. I'm with you that he should donate to get his sites more exposure instead of wasting bandwidth alt-accounting. I'm not with you on the seriousness of ps3fool's incursion. At least not for the same reasons.

this is bullsh*t. i dont care much about some little con artist with a handful of alts to begin with, but when it comes from one of the guys who sits on ventrilo and times his site upload with his buddies to make sure THEY get on top 15, it leaves a real sour taste and amounts to the pot calling the kettle black. not to mention that ALL the mystery songs getting nuked after an epic 3 day effort is completely whack, and im not sure of the times, but it appears to be sitsus fault with this ytmnd. not cool.

I was talking about Patrickman this whole time. he was told not to come back, then he did, and I simply said "keep an eye on this one" - thats all. I even updated this site to credit him for apologizing.
i mean how many times do i have to hit it home? i'm not responsible for the NWS's of yours or anyone elses sites, all I did was make this one to call out ps3fool for his past actions, THATS IT - and now you put the controversy over NWS on my shoulders. why should i keep talking to you when you're not even on the same curb?
That's fine. I'm not worried about ratings. You know how you feel about Patrickman's cheating robbing other people of their hard work? That's the same way I feel about bad moderation. That's what it all boils down to. Even if the mods have their rights to do it and all (which is all I was trying to say with my AIM counterexample).
I'd like to report a casefile involving a user by the name of crazy88s. He reposted many ytmnds that were never his in the first place, and tried to deny that they ever existed in the first place. He downvotes against anyone who calls him unoriginal (I expereinced this firsthand) But what really caught my attention was the fact that there were uses 5ing him stating how "original" he was. It became obvious he had alts (4 confirmed so far) soley for upvoting himself and downvoting his enemies.
