He did *NOT* give it to the Public Domain (which is a different thing entirely) - he simply gave up his rights to pay for people to listen to it. If Timbaland claims all copyright for the song ("Exclusive, original ringtone!") then he violated Copyright Law. That's it.

Sounds great, 5/5, but if you're going to correct it (I dunno) just change A, E, and D to "Am, Em, and Dm", and if somebody's reading off of those it'll sound right.
Well, yes I guess I did steal it, I had no idea if it was even a professional remix or not, and considering it's ancient and prolific electronica, my personal belief of me ever finding it legit was slim to none. So bear with me.
I'm pretty sure I didn't steal it, considering I made it myself in Audition. And I asked MANY a person about the remixer beforehand, I guess I just got the wrong information.
