Nintendo got the rights, both Nintendo & Tengen produced carts, Nintendo sued Tengen, Nintendo won, 99% of the tengen carts where pulled from shelves & crushed for landfill. That's why Tengen Tetris is one of the rarest NES titles to date. The original tetris was programmed on an Electronika 60, a soviet PDP-11 clone, which didn't have sound, which is why I didn't meniton it.
Yeah, because Tetris invented that song all on it's own & Nintendo composed it by themselves despite the fact that they where designing the game w/ Russia in mind.
