I once personally witnessed a guy get his finger sliced off by a table saw in high school wood working from the tip of the finger down to the first joint. It didn't bleed at all to begin with because the heat of the blade cauterized the wound, but just as soon as he hit the floor screaming, there was blood everywhere. There wasn't enough to re-attach, because the saw kerf took about 0.25", so he just had to deal with not having a fingertip. So remember what Trip Fisk always says: Don't f*cking touch swords.
