Unlike shows like Simpsons and Family Guy, Seinfeld relies on basically no pop-culture references to be funny because it is about every day life. That being said, I'm not sure what the show being a decade old has to do with anything. It was funny then, and will be funny for quite some time.
To the guy who said an epic maneuver can't be staged, I guess none of the epic maneuvers taken from movies count then, considering those are all staged as well.
