I can find select quotes if you want, but many news anchors, especially on MSNBC say things like "Could this just be that American's are against having a black president?" Of course that is probably the case for a small minority, but I think most of the people who are against Obama aren't against him because of the color of his skin. After all, he is half white.

Well, while I agree that the element of racism is overly exaggerated, those asserting that he is a Muslim in a negative context does say something about their level of religious tolerance. I personally think he is a stealth secularist instead, but I don't have the time to go on about that. Also, constant references to his middle name, as if it bares significance, is ignorant and/or xenophoic, in my opinion. I mean, I had a Czech ancestor by the name of Adolf that served in Europe during WWII after all.
