I checked, it said it was developed during the 1970s. I don't think it was actually available to the public untill the early 80's

the first movie I saw on a home top loaded vcr was red dawn in roughly 1986. My dad got pissed off because patrick swayzee pissed in the radiator and turned it off.

Wait, your dad was the radiator?!? What?!

YTMND is a flawed concept. Only Connery can be the man, now dog.

Btw, it makes sense because the text was typed on a typwriter, cut out, and pasted onto a film student's collage of Sean Connery in Finding Forester, and filmed for 60 consecutive minutes.

The 1980s equivalent to YTMND was when some annoying a/v nerd walked around behind you quoting Airplane!, SNL, and Monty Python films all day.

thats VCR is way to fancy for 80s. Oh, and there was color in the 80s. 1 for being all around wrong.

Do i need to get an older VCR for this YTMND? Also, just because there were color TVs, doesn't mean they all had to be.

It's fine the way it is. Leave it.

Don't respond to ACr's criticism, xinjinbei, he just likes to sound like he has a reason for 1ing people. Site's good like it is.

I had a black & white TV until the 90's. It made Double Dragon II rather confusing when playing with my brother.

It's a vintage VHS tape being played on a modern VHS player. Duh.
