| Rush always makes me think of the Wall of Shame at my high school where the burnouts would stand in a line and smoke. They also make me think of guys who secretly wish they were Elves. | ||||||

A pack of smokes, and standing exactly 2 feet off school property so they could smoke. There were many of these douche bags at my school as well. You'll have to explain the elves though???? |

| A subset of high school freaks that may or may not include burnouts. Typically, they played D&D, watched Monty Python films endlessly, were part of the A/V club, may have also either run cross-country, played in the jazz band, on the chess team or in the drama club, and endlessly bickered the finer details of the Tolkien books and Star Wars and eventually signed up on ytmnd. Favorite Rush song: The Trees. |

| I'm definitely somewhere right in that mix you described. From track, to Monty, to the school band, right into skateboarding, where I got into my Anthrax, Beastie boys, GWAR, S.T, Pantera etc stage, before grunge ruled the world for me. Which takes us to now, where I have learned to appreciate Rush, Neil Young and other classic acts on a different level, over most of what is being produced today. | ||||||
