(i originally didn't think much of the contest thing, but it appears max has offended several TOURNAMENTMND players. by making no acknowledgment of us despite our heavy presence on the front page since last december, which was not intended to spam the community but rather to inspire it, he irked several of the participants...

...while max conceived "theme night" and then called it a miserable failure in a following news post, i did use the idea of each round of the tournament having a theme by which the contestants would have to follow. the difference is that the TOURNAMENTMND themes were originally very vague and open to creative interpretation, as opposed to specifically naming the movie "polyester" in hopes that more interesting sites would be made, and a new buzz would circulate ytmnd during a dull time...

...anyway, there you go, TOURNAMENTMNDers. i've stood up for us.)

Thanks for taking this stand, frankly I feel like people on ytmnd always suck up to the wrong people. No shoutout to the originator of the ytmnd tournaments, but now because fearcondom made a contest, 100 entries are made

Yeah, why didn't TOURNAMENTMND get a shout-out? If you need convincing that a theme-based competition spanning across several days would work, how much better does it get?
