it's significantly larger than itemroom due to how much animation is going on between frames, so even though it's fewer frames and the animation isn't quite as smooth, it's almost double the size. the sound is also larger due to how variable the surface music is. the sound effects (the thunderclaps, specifically) are actually randomized, so in order to make it smooth, I had to leave it at least a minute long. the result is ginormous.

it was pretty hard to make this, actually. i had to make a lot of trade offs and actually edit some of the frames some they would combine properly since i had to cut out a lot of the frames. anyway, the result isn't half bad i don't think and the name of the game is still primarily ambiance. enjoy.

oh, i also added sync to it due to how large the files are. i wanted them to start playing simultaneously to get the full effect, rather than have sound without an image for a few seconds.

Ooo? This is kind of fun. Let me just think for a second. Ok! Let's go for spooky this time. How about the wrecked ship theme before Samus defeats Phantoon? And in case animation presence isn't much, those bugs might work.
