I'm tired of hearing Dire Straits in videos about the current economic crash. It'd be far more appropriate to set those anti-Carter/Democratic party videos all my southern relatives keep emailing me to Sympathy for the Devil or Prince's 1999.

Independent Party is the only way to go

For one election, when I lived in Chicago, I joined the Republican party so I could vote in the primary and cast a vote against Bush. I also wanted to vote for a Republican candidate in the Gubernatorial race because Rod Blagojevich is a dink sniffer. Other than that, I've never belonged to any of them thar parties.

Originally I joined the Republican Party but I soon realized I was more of libertarian. After being informed that there was no "Libertarian Party" in my state I switched to being an Independent
