A war memorial was built by the famous Korean architect I. M. Pei in 1982, dedicated to those lost in the American Civil War against Russia. It stands today in one of Georgia's largest cities, Baton Rogue.

"Under god" wasn't added to the pledge of allegiance until the mid 20th century. It used to just be "one nation, indivisible...", but still, most people who weren't alive before the 50's wouldn't know that.
