WTF is military time? Most civilized countries in the world nowadays convey the power to count to twenty-four to their scchool children. That's why we have 1337-hours of the day. LUOL.

1 for you not understanding what military time is.

you'll notice that there is not a colon separating the 13 and the 37. Therefore, it LOOKS like military time. anyways, I took that picture knowing that one day I was gonna put it on YTMND. never expected to make it on top viewed though. thank you people. It's a beautiful life...Oh-ohohohoh, it's a beautiful life....

I thought military time was 24 our clock and "hours" after it. 1337 on there is "everybody in the world except the United States" time.

That comment made absolutely no f*cking sense.

And Ender's Game was a horrid book written by a f*cking Scientologst.

What he is saying is that military time is something like "1337 hours". The picture shown is just a 24-hour clock, which is used in most countries except the US.

the only confusing part of my post was "24 our clock", which was a typo. Ender's Game and its sequels were great books, and Orson Scott Card is a Mormon. So essentially, you were wrong three times. Thanks for your literacy, agruff23 :D

I quit.

Military time is colloquially used in reference to 24 hour clocks. I don't see what this has to do with being US-centric. And I am aware Card is a Mormon. Ender's Game... I have mixed feelings about the book. Standalone it's generally alright, but those Ender's Shadow books... especially the sequels- they were horrid. That I am adamant about.

it's only colloquially used in the US, hence "military time" is US-centric. The rest of the world calls it "the time". Card and his books are neither here nor there.

Personal story time: This song takes me way back. I only recently purchased it on iTunes just because. When I was six, I had to spend a night in the hospital after getting my tonsils removed. I remember laying in the hospital bed that Thursday night, the 11th of January in 1996, and then I heard this song on the radio. Everytime I hear this song, I remember that day. I threw up blood three times that afternoon, shortly after coming to. Then I watched Wheel of Fortune that evening.
