| I wouldn't say they turned the tide of the battle. Everything that has transpired has done so according to Palpatine's design. Luke's friends up there on the sanctuary moon are walking into a trap, as is the rebel fleet. It was Palpatine who allowed the alliance to know the location of the shield generator and it is quite safe from this pitiful little band. An entire legion of the Emperor's best troops await them. Oh, I'm afraid the deflector shield will be quite operational when Luke's friends arrive |
