Your site = much effort, little thought. A 10 second paint site = much though, little effort. Stop trying so hard and think harder next time. Lots of work might mean lots of fives, but it doesn't mean you are funny or accomplished or should be proud of your whore site.

How does a involve more thought exactly? I had to stare at this for about an hour thinking about what I wanted to do before I even began to edit. Paint site takes 10 seconds. I doubt there was effort or thought involved. Otherwise the punchline would be different. But its always the same. It's a mockery of a different site, and theme.

I think what he's trying to say is, ideas are most important than efforts on YTMND (and it's perfect that way). No one should care if someone spent 10 minutes or 100 hours editing a site, in the end, it just has to be good. And anyway, even if you, myself or anyone wasted over 100 hours making a site, that site will almost certainly suck more than http://omgameteor.ytmnd.com, no matter what.

Someone needs to make this the scene from Predator where that dude is dual wielding mp5's and the predator shoots one of his arms off but it is like still okay because he has another mp5 in his other hand. Yah that except now in air and maybe this time the dude shoots the predator with his other mp5. I know it doesn't go with the movie but considering the shortness of a ytmnd a happy ending would be nice.

Why shouldn't people make sites for insta-5's? Surely thats partly why people bother to go through the effort of making ytmnds. So people will watch it, enjoy it and 5 it. I wouldn't spend hours in imageready purposely making a bad site just so people can say 'well, at least he didn't use something people like and can relate to' like Mario.
