You're right. Instead of trying to change "there" children's "belifs" or dress, parents should spend more time beating their kids so they don't grow into illiterate goth dipsh*ts.

Its not that simple though. Personally I'd have no problem if my kid wanted to be a Catholic or Lutherin or not have any religion at all. However I'd smack the sh*t out of my kid if they wanted to become say, a scientologist, because as a rational human being I know that religion is dangerous and wrong. This is why parenting is hard. You have to apply freedom and love with guidance and discipline if you are going to raise a healthy human being.

This bothers me too. When you see a child holding a sing and that child is likely too young to understand what the statement written on it is even implying. Then again their parents are just as much sheep as them blindly following what others say and do without asking themselves if they truly do believe in the cause.

Also, I promise if I accidentally have kids that I will whore them out at every opportunity for personal gain. That's just how I do things. Also, children are useful symbols during protests. For instance, they say, "This is the opinion of a person who has a family." That is why I recommend stealing or borrowing babies for protests when the protesting population is not thought to encompass families. That's marketing genius if I've ever seen it. Or, for financial gain, daddy needs a new pair of shoes!

Think about it. Maybe the parents didn't have a babysitter on hand to take care of their kid. And maybe the kid just sees it as an event where he walks around holding a sign. It's not forcing an ideology on the kid, it's spending time with their parents. I know plenty of parents beat religion into their kids, but I guess they're not as easy to hate as those "hippies".

Well, it's difficult and self-defeating not to put a face on, for instance, children's health insurance. As far bringing your children to political rallies, I don't see how that's any different from encouraging your kids to be involved with sports. Parents always attempt to guide their children towards an activity they see as being valuable.
