You know, this is actually the first NSMB I've seen in a long time, so, it's not really overplayed to me. That said. the joke needs more urgency at the end. Like having it be near the end of his run where he's really pulling hard and straining and his neck muscles are sticking out. But having him just run up to the dude sorta makes it fall flat. Still, 4.
