A lot of other stuff that actually is true comes off like crazy conspiracy fodder. The fact that the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff signed off on Northwoods in the 60s is evidence enough not accept everything at face value. The Tuskegee Experiment, The Business Plot, "extraordinary renditions," Abu Ghraib - that's all sh*t that would come off as conspiracy craziness, too, but it's all true.

Technically, isn't it fully impossible for somebody to be smart enough to get away with something like this, but dumb enough to even consider trying it out at the same time? They would have to be pretty insane too. There's also the fact that there are so many conspiracy theorists out there... and if they're right, then why aren't they being "silenced" or suffering from more "accidents"? All that aside, there are plenty of people smart enough to hijack a plane, and crazy enough to crash it, over in Iran.
