The words were used loosely (especially in Jamaica), mash-up less so, at least until the mid-90s with the rise of folks like Mark Gunderson and John Oswald, after whom the idea of mash-ups became outright trendy. I was prepared to do that, but when I heard how perfectly the tracks blended together, I figured, why should I? I mean, seriously. They're in the same key, almost the same tempo, and the drums go along with the beats in the original song. No need to mess with that.
