EGM = sucky magazine. The lead developer of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus[Fumito Ueda] is putting together ideas for a game for the PS3. Obviously it will be the best PS3 game out for it

lol I love how everyone calls it a remake when it still uses the same engine as the xbox version (making it essentially the same game) and identical in every way except for the new content, updated character models, and a few added effects to take advantage of the fact that it is on a next-gen platform. You don't call a Resident Evil 4: Wii edition, a remake of the gamecube version.

sigma is a f*cking exact port with tightened up grafix and more doodads and another playable character, and a few more boss battles. i played the f*cking whole thing on xbox, then played the demo on ps3. pretty much an exact port with sort of an "expansion pack". if you've never played it on xbox, buy it on ps3. but if you've played it on xbox or have an xbox/360, get the original or black for like, $10 and save yourself $50.

Most of the "new content" was downloadable off of Xbox Live a couple years ago anyways, and, apparently, except for healthy amounts of jiggle, the new parts where you control Rachel are lame. Sure, it's got better graphics, but there's no real reason to more than rent this game if you've already played the old one. At least Resident Evil 4's Wii update is 1) cheap, and 2) a new, and frankly, better way to play the game. This is a port of a great game, no doubt about it, but it's still a port.

Resistance - bland, generic fps game. Motorstorm - bland, generic racing gaming. The Darkness - got a 7.7 from IGN(crap).

Resistance does elements different however just like desruptor had a different take on weapon design in general and AI. Of course saying Resistance is a bland generic fps would be like saying Gears of War is not a bland generic third person shooter. Motorstorm include fun online play, and enjoyable race tracks, unless you go for drift racing bullsh*t however. Just because The Darkness recived a 7.7 from a less then steller website, doesn't mean it automaticly counts as a crappy game.

Resistance itself isn't bad, but one game doesn't make a console. When Sony is resorting to selling old games via the arcade system...I mean come on, all that hardware is going to waste playing the Rubber Duckie game.

you can only have one guy play online with resistance, whereas in gears/halo 2/halo 3 beta/real halo 3/like f*cking everything on 360 you can have at least one buddy play online with you on your system. and you can't use all the guns in multiplayer. what the f*ck is that?

Because we all know EGM is God, and everything that they say is the final word, undisputed. I don't own a PS3, FYI. 360 and Wii are for me, although some of the other PS3 exclusives look good (MGS4, mainly.)

MGS4 would have to be one of the most disspointing looking games I've seen since halo 3. Then again I'm not fund of overrated games starring a 3 testicled warvet like MGS4.

Personally, I was never that big on Lair. These are MY exclusive games that will make the system, in order of release: Folklore, Little Big World, White Knight. And as for the last, I somehow doubt Level 5 is even CAPABLE of making a bad game.

Id be suprised if Level 5 could do wonders storytelling wise with White Knight chronicles. But of course I like Factor 5s rouge squadron games of the yesteryear so I take interest in what the pro nintendo companie could do with Lair. Well what they use to be before Nintendo became utterly desperate for money and created an underpowered xbox.

Hell yeah. Level 5 is a great company. I loved the Dark Cloud games AND Rogue Galaxy.
