It'd actually be a useful thing if only the window of oppourtunity for new people / unknowns was wider for them to be noticed. Now it's just put into the ten seconds before 1:15 am.

indeed, i personally think that the box should just be a collection of thier older sites (much like worthwhile) and certainly not a revolving retarded symphony of self aggrandizement...i also sincerly hope that they are reviewed and their population is drastically culled at regular intervals...all he really had to do was create the list and then allow for all YTMNDs to show the name of the creater on the home page...i can think of at least 5 ways in which the feature would function better than it does now

with all the featured user downvoting the whole thing has had the reverse effect. featured users are getting hammered by the voters and some seem down right ascared to post new sites for fear of the beating they will take. It's hard to imagine how much Max must hates us all

If i could cast votes for testicular fortitude shown by people who sponsor their own sites, even more so those knowing very well the consequences of their actions the following full week of "internet attention" and the insults directed towards he or she that deliberately went against the public status quo, I would surely vote a 5; especially with the $4.55 amount, which is clearly the price of a 32 pack of keystone light. As for the site itself, it fails to meet my personal standards, which aren't very high

I believe i will give this five stars, mostly because it's an accurate statement. Also, I believe if the man had not indeed sponsored his own site then it would have been alt downvoted into nothingness. It's a message to be heard, not forgotten. When will YTMND go back to it's humble roots and leave this madness behind? A featured user could create a page with nothing but a used condom and a beer can with a cigarette butt in it and everyone would go, "Oh, wow! That's simply amazing! I give it five stars!".

While I agree, this helps them, I dont really see how it exactly hurts others. Fact of the matter is, the featured user section is pretty reliable for good sites, so as far as im concerned, as long as a pinky doesn't spam ytmnd with sh*t, idc.
