I honestly think Murdar was really the first one to perfect YTMND as a medium. Max originally made a website with a funny picture of Sean Connery and a clip of him reciting a stupid clip from a stupid film. Murdar's sense of humour is very much an extension of this and, in my opinion, more in keeping with the true spirit of this website than that of any other user.

incidentally, I only really intended this site as a personal tribute to Murdar that he could share with a few of his friends, which he did. Murdar also always claimed to just use YTMND casually, for his own amusement and that of others, and didn't really consider himself a part of the community. The only reason this site is on the front page is that it was apparently on U&C at the stroke of midnight, because U&C sucked yesterday and even sites with a 3.8 rating were on the front page.

i'm pretty sure if you knew what it was about, in other words PART of the inside jokers, it was less funny. kinda dissapointed me that it was intended as a inside joke thing, i got all excited thinking we had found the next Leonardo Devinci.

I never even considered the possibility of this site having any appeal to people who didn't know what I was getting at. I imagine you're really laughing at the borrowed aspects of this site without realizing where they are from. On the other hand, some of the randomness is intentional (the actor playing Murdar for instance). I suggest you check out some of Murdar's sites if you liked this.

He was a fartsophone player. Why the jazz station does a tribute to him is meant to be a delightful absurdity. Keep in mind that, at the very end, they jam together on their fartsophones in a fart symphony.

I think it's funnier with them asking the local jazz station for a tribute to him because it makes it more real.
