Cinco de Mayo is the day when San Lupe de Frijoles drove his pickup from Guadalajara and killed some cucarachas invading the jumping bean crop. To celebrate, they beat some French people with piñata beating sticks. This actually happened on May 4 at 3 in the afternoon, but it was too hot, so they did all this the next day. We Americans commemorate it by buying sh*tty Mexican beer and getting sloppy drunk. Current Mexicans celebrate by mowing my lawn.
