The people who would actually click the ads, use the product and actually give a profit to max are going to do so. If the rest of us block the ads, it doesn't hurt anything seeing as we aren't going to be clicking them and generating revenue for Max in the first place.

It does... most advertisers pay for web banner ads by impressions, not clicks, or actual follow-throughs. I worked for a a pretty large website that charged between $2-25 per 1000 views. It had nothing to do with how successful the ad actually was.

Apparently you little f*ckers don't understand the concept, so I'll type it in caps for you. INTERNETS COST MONEY! If you block the ads, the number of views go down, advertisers are less likely renew with YTMND, and before you know it, max finally decides that it's not worth money out of his pocket to keep you little bastards pleased.

hey, um you usually have to click on the ads for contracts to be renewed. The amount of views of a corner ad is usually not measured. So adblocking the thing really makes no difference, unless you like to look at AND click on ads.

This is disgusting yfly is a sponsor, which means when you click on their advert MAX earns money, money that he puts right back into this site to keep it RUNNING and all yfly asks of us is that we check out their site in exchange for helping max with ytmnd. How is this unreasonable? personnaly I don't like adverts however if they PAY for the site I love then I'll have no problem clicking on them.
