As in, it can be easily turned into something else because there's no reason for what is there to be any more than any other meaningless thing: it is arbitrary. It melts down to: "A guy watches something funny on Tivo" rather than, say, "George Mcfly watches Marty fall on his ass", which would not be arbitrary.

I never said anything about it becoming a fad. I just mean that it's worthless. Arbitrariness means that you can interchange the parts without losing anything... which means that there is no connection at all between what is here... it's just a gimmick and an arbitrary "thing to be laughed at". I gave the gimmick a 2.
