Artman, I wrote a C program to generate the maze and animate the balls, and imageready to convert the 35 bitmap frames to a gif. The program took about 4 hours to write.

I couldn't follow a ball long enough, but I could see where it was going. Very well done. Happen to know how long it would take for the ball to trace its way through the whole maze? Just out of curiosity.

Kradark, a single ball will start over after 23030 frames of animation. The maze is 48x48 squares, and it takes 5 frames to move one square, so the total time it takes is (48^2-1)*2*5.
